Exercise resistance bands are strong, long bands that are designed for use during exercise, body conditioning and rehabilitation.  They give for a smooth resistance throughout motion and do not recoil quickly.  They are versatile in that they can be tied into knots in order to create loops for your feet, arms and can be easily hooked around items such as doors or chairs.

If used for general exercise they are often used during a workout when doing bench presses and deadlifts in order to give extra resistance.  They can also be used for pull-ups and press-ups.  Resistance bands are useful when doing upper and lower body training and help with toning arms, legs, back and core muscles.

Next up the scale is our purple resistance band with a medium resistance rating of 35 to 85 lbs. This is perfect for assisted pull ups and upper body movements.  Our strongest blue resistance band has a rating of 65 to 175 lbs.  It is designed for high-intensity training, works well with assisted pullups and heavy legs or back movements.
